Speaking on Why Football Clubs Should Consider Installing 3G Stadium Pitches.
Oliver is co-owner of Maidstone United Football Club and Director and shareholder of Brive, a French Top 14 Rugby Club and former European Cup winner. He is also Director and shareholder of Goodform, a sports marketing company. Over the last 10 years he has been involved in several stadium projects as consultant or developer, including the new Gallagher Stadium in Maidstone, the extension of Brive’s stadium and a proposed redevelopment of the historic Stade Colombes near Paris, which staged the 1924 Olympic Games and was used for the ﬁlm Chariots of Fire.
Oliver created 3G4US in 2011 in order to promote the benefits of 3G to football clubs, to encourage the exchange of practical information on 3G pitch projects amongst clubs, and to lobby for acceptance of 3G in National League and Football League.

Colin is Managing Director of Labosport, an international test laboratory and advisory group with unrivalled independent expertise. The company is recognised by all relevant international and national sports governing bodies. They work closely with sports policy makers to help set the standards for facilities and equipment used from the top professional levels of sport down to the grassroots community.
An engineer with over 15 years’ experience in the sports surface industry, including research and development in academia, and time working for the Sports and Play Construction Association, Colin is responsible for the strategic direction and management of Labosport. He has been responsible for expanding the company’s role into a diverse range of activities relating to sports surfaces.

Paul spearheads the market-leading producer’s innovation in 3G systems. With more than 12 years experience in the artificial turf industry, Paul’s is leading the development of 3G systems with a strong focus on the evolution of materials used in artificial turf, as well as the interaction of component parts including infill and shockpads. A keen football fan and season ticket holder at St Johnstone FC, Paul’s insight into current artificial turf technologies brings a wealth of information to the audience.

Tom has over 15 years’ leisure consultancy experience and is responsible for leading the growth of The Sports Consultancy’s venue development capability, establishing the team as a leading consultancy in the development of sports facilities and venues. The Sports Consultancy was established in 2006 and specialises in facility strategy, feasibility, options appraisal, business planning, leisure management and operator procurement.
Tom will provide a summary of the key business case issues to be considered in developing an artificial grass pitch for club and community use. He will highlight factors that influence viability and financially sustainable. He will also provide an insight into the typical income and expenditure figures that can be achieved.

Speaking on Raising Funds for Clubs through Sports Crowdfunding
James has 15 years’ experience in all aspects of marketing and business strategy working at Procter & Gamble, Unilever, and as a consultant for major FMCG manufacturers at WPP. He holds an MA from the University of Cambridge.
Jeremy has previously worked in the Financial Institutions Group at BlackRock and in Fixed Income at ICAP. Jeremy holds a first class BA(hons) from the University of Nottingham and an MSc from London Business School.
