Play Surfaces

Multi-functional Sports Area

As a small village primary school, with 149 pupils, maximising on play space is an important consideration. This facility, which comprises a multi-functional sports area linked to a trail of climbing and balancing equipment, does exactly that.

Pupils use the area as the main playground as well as for more organised PE activities. Most days the whole school uses the area for their ‘wake up, shake up’ aerobic exercises.

The contrasting colours not only mark the netball court but also create zones for self initiated games of tag, an array of ball games and other active pursuits every break time.

The school have been delighted with the services provided by S&C Slatter. They do what they say they do, and when they say they will; inclusion of their maintenance service is just great, one less thing to worry about.
